Cancelled - Called to Discipleship 2018 - Manchester

Take your knowledge of the Catholic Faith to the next level. If you are serving in your parish or Catholic School, Called to Discipleship is for you. You may serve as catechist, youth minister, campus minister, RCIA team member, or extraordinary minister of Communion. Or, you may be a parish support staff member or member of the parish pastoral or finance council. In whatever ministry you serve, you will benefit from this opportunity to build competence and confidence. Called to Discipleship consists of two parts, a Core Course and a Skills Formation & Retreat Day. The Core Course may be taken by any adult parishioner desiring enrichment.

ABOUT THE CORE COURSE
The sixteen hour Core Course is offered over three Saturdays. The United States Catholic Catechism for Adults serves as the foundation for this course. The topics covered include:

• Faith Development

• Profession of Faith

• Old Testament

• New Testament

• Person of Jesus

• Church

• Sacraments and Liturgy

• Morality
